Web 2.0 101 Blog Post for Week 4

Week 4 of the MLA Web 2.0 101 class we learned about Social Book Marking. I created a del.icio.us account of booked marked websites http://del.icio.us/dnalgne . I found the tool to be easy to use and notice some website already have links to del.icio.us listed on their website. I think this Web 2.0 technology will be of good use for librarians and other researchers. The ability to be able to login any where to get to your booked marked websites is handy. You do not have to try to remember what you booked marked on a particular computer you can just log onto your del.icio.us account and all of your websites you booked marked are listed there. I even uploaded the website I had booked marked on my work computer to the website. I liked that the website lets you know if someone else has booked marked in del.icio.us.
