For week 6 Online Photo Sharing was the topic. I created a Flickr account and upload some photos to it. I also updated my Facebook profile picture with at current picture and added the same picture to my Blog. I find this type of Web 2.0 technology wonderful. I enjoy taking pictures and now can use flickr to share them. Another Web 2.0 technology I can find my self spending a lot of time using.
I believe this concept could be used in our library to show locations of items and how our collection is organized. Another idea is for our archives away to share the thousands of photos we have in our collection with our staff and the community. This technology of photo sharing goes right in hand with week 7 podcasting and online hosted video.
